Here are some of my other interests and hobbies, besides travel…

PC Gaming 💻

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am pretty keen on PC gaming! For those who don’t know me so well, this can come as a bit of a surprise… I have been playing PC games since the age of 8 or so, and I am mostly into real time strategy and massively multiplayer online roleplaying games. My favourite games of all time are World of Warcraft, Runescape (Old School) & Age of Empires, although occasionally I will play other games. I am a casual gamer, therefore I do not have any particularly noteworthy achievements or accolades to my name!

Dogs 🐶

I love all dogs, but of course my favourite dog in the world is my own – Archie, the cocker spaniel. He is my first dog, and the absolute best dog I could ever have asked for! His hobbies and interests include engaging in copious amounts of sniffing, playing with/snuggling his multiple pheasant and/or duck toys, and devouring meaty & cheesy treats! 💕

Personal & Professional Development 🤓

I have always had an interest in bettering myself, and generally learning more about different aspects of life. As one example, I enjoy learning languages, and can speak some Norwegian, German, and a bit of French. I can also speak some basic words and phrases in Slovenian! Although I have thought about it for a while now, I may learn Spanish one day… I have some Rosetta Stone language learning software, so there isn’t really an excuse!

Further to languages, I have embarked on a few different professional qualifications in the subject areas of accounting and marketing, with consideration for exploring mental health therapies/counselling one day.

Swimming, Badminton & Cycling 🏊🏻‍♀️

I always enjoy swimming! This is my favourite form of exercise, with some of my best memories coming from past swims.

I also play badminton every now and then, and am forever working on bettering both my technique and my stamina 🏸

Cycling is something that I enjoy but don’t get around to doing as much. I don’t like solo riding, so I take the opportunity to ride with others when I can.
